Trivet

Trivet . For placing hot pots and pans which have come off the stove .

I have a few woks in various  sizes, nothing fancy. They are round bottomed woks which require a stand or trivet to keep In a stable position especially if using hot oil. I decided to use a  brake calliper as a trivet . I use one side for woks and the other for flat pans .It works well and diffuses the heat at the same time .  I may add a  timber or upcycled rubber plate underneath for use on delicate Surfaces . These Trivets come in a range of colours and can be customised to suit also .
